Hello, my name is Andy Roberts. I am an art director and a very tall Welshman. I started my career with the rather prestigious job title of ‘junior web marketing executive’ in a small town in Northern England called ‘Bury’ (and yes, it was as grim as it sounds). After the glamour of working in a warehouse next to a motorway finally waned, I decided to venture south to London where I was taught all things digital. Three years later, I ventured even further south and set sail to Australia.
Since arriving "Down Under", I’ve worked in some of Melbourne’s top ad agencies and created award-winning campaigns (some just award-worthy). My experience in Australia has seen me transition from designer to art director and develop a small crush on copywriting.
When I’m not on the tools, you’ll find me practising Aussie slang, listening to 80s electronic music, watching The League of Gentleman and creating fancy lettering. Plus, I'm currently making a film called 'The last train to Ringwood' about an Uber driver who's also an Elvis impersonator.
Clients I’ve worked on: Carlsberg, Latitude Personal Loans, Schweppes, AGL Energy, L’Oréal, Nissan, RACV, Kraft and The Age.
